Central University of Kashmir PhD Admission 2025-26 (Phase-II)

Online applications are invited from the eligible candidates with fellowships (UGC-JRF/ UGC-CSIR / ICMR/ICAR/ GATE/DBT/ DST-INSPIRE or any other Fellowship/Scholarship (as applicable) for admission to Ph.D. Programmes in the following departments for the Academic Session 2025-2026 (January 2026 Intake).

Eligibility Criteria

• Online applications are invited from the eligible candidates with fellowships (UGC-JRF/ UGC-CSIR /ICMR/ICAR/ GATE/DBT/ DST-INSPIRE or any other Fellowship/Scholarship (as applicable) for admission to Ph.D. Programmes
• The admission to the Ph.D. Programme shall be governed by the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedures for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2022.
• A relaxation of 5% marks or equivalent relaxation in grading points shall apply to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwD/EWS categories in admission as per UGC norms

Educational Qualification

Master’s Degree in relevant field with a minimum of 55% marks (50% in case of SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer) EWS, and PwD candidates).
