English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) PhD Admission 2025-26

English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) invites online applications for admission to various PhD Program at Hyderabad, Lucknow and Shillong Campus for the academic session 2025-26.

Eligibility Criteria

• Master’s Degree holders in related field with with 55% marks for general/ OBC candidates, and 50% marks for SC/ ST/ Differently-abled category candidates (The eligibility marks may be relaxed by 5% for sponsored candidates.)
• Candidates who are still awaiting the results of their final year/semester examinations are also eligible to apply, Candidates will be provisionally admitted to the programme, subject to their meeting the eligibility criteria and the submission of relevant documents at the time of admissions. The candidates with NET/ JRF qualifications should have been awarded their degree on or before the last date for applying for admission i.e. 21.06.2025 EFLU Ph.D. 2025-26 notification.

Application Process

• Candidates can apply online through the University website https://www.efluniversity.ac.in.
• The prescribed entrance test fee should only be paid online (by credit card/debit card/net-banking).
• All courses and programmes are full-time.

Selection Process

• The result of NET will be declared in percentile along with the marks obtained by a candidate to utilize the marks for admission to Ph.D.
• The JRF-qualified students (category – I) are admitted into the Ph.D. programme based on an interview as per the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedures for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulation, 2022.
• For students who qualify in Categories 2 and 3, 70% weightage will be given for test scores and 30% weightage for the interview for admission to Ph.D. programmes. The Ph.D. admission will be based on the combined merit of NET marks and the marks obtained in the interview/viva voce. The marks obtained in the NET by the candidates in categories 2 and 3 will be valid for a period of one year for admission to Ph.D.
