Overview
- Dibrugarh University offers the “Pragati Summer Internship Programme 2025” in various science departments, sponsored by DST-PURSE.
- Aligned with NEP 2020, this program aims to integrate workshop with workplace, build capacity, develop research aptitude, provide exposure to emerging technologies, and enhance professional competency.
- A total of 30 undergraduate (UG) students from affiliated colleges and 20 postgraduate (PG) students (with and without affiliation) will be sponsored as interns.
- UG internships are four weeks with a consolidated remuneration of INR 5000/-, and PG internships are six weeks with INR 7500/-.
- Internships must be conducted between 15th June, 2025, and 15th August, 2025, with start and end dates fixed by the supervisor and intern within this period, maintaining the specified duration.
Eligibility Criteria for UG internships
- Applicants must be pursuing the 4th semester of the FYUGP course.
- Applicants must not have any active backlog.
- Applicants must have a minimum 7.5 CGPA till the 3rd semester (7.0 for SC/ST/OBC).
- Students must be from colleges affiliated to Dibrugarh University.
Eligibility Criteria for PG internships
- Applicants must be pursuing the 2nd semester of postgraduation.
- Applicants must not have any active backlog.
- Applicants must have a minimum 7.5 CGPA in the 1st semester (7.0 for SC/ST/OBC).
- Applicants from all Universities/Colleges are eligible to apply.

Important Information
- The decision regarding the allotment of a supervisor will be taken by the concerned departments.
- All interns must submit an internship report to the Head of the concerned Department after completion, duly certified by the supervisor, within two weeks of completion. Certificates will be issued only after receiving the report.
- No accommodation will be provided by Dibrugarh University to the intern. Interns must arrange for their own accommodation.
