Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates who have successfully completed their Master’s Degree Programme in compliance with the stipulated eligibility criteria as per the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedures for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2022 dated 07/11/2022, are eligible for online application for admission to Ph.D. Programme.
- Further, those candidates who have qualified for the UGC-NET, CSIR-UGCNET and have NET score can apply for the Ph.D. Programme offered by this University. (As per UGC’s communication F.4-1(UGC-NET Review Committee)/ 2024(NET)/ 140648 dated 28-March-2024 and Public Notice of even number dated 27-March-2024).

Admission Procedure
- The admission to Ph.D. Programme will be governed as per UGC’s communication F.4-1(UGC-NET Review Committee)/2024(NET)/ 140648 dated 28-March-2024 and Public Notice of even number dated 27-March-2024 and University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedures for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2022 dated 07/11/2022, as amended from time-to-time.
- All candidates are hereby informed that the Interviews of eligible candidates for Ph.D. Admission will be scheduled on 26/11/2025, 27/11/2025 and 28/11/2025 – 11:30 a.m. onward on each day. The detailed scheduled for the interview will be notified at later stage – through University website.
Application Process
- All candidates are required to register for their online application for admission to Ph.D. Programme on https://cugadm.samarth.edu.in/ within the stipulated schedule.
- After successful submission of online application and payment thereon, the candidates should take a print-out of the application form generated through SAMARTH eGov. This print-out along with all necessary supporting selfattested copies of the documents (Along with the Original documents) shall be required to be produced at the time of document verification.

Application Fee
- General/OBC (NCL)/EWS (For TWO Ph.D. Programme): ₹1000/-
- SC/ST/Transgender (For TWO Ph.D. Programme): ₹500/-
- Person with Disability (PwD): Not Applicable
Those candidates who are interested in applying for more than one PhD Programme, separate online applications are required for each PhD Programme. However, any candidate can apply for TWO Programme by payment of Application fee – as applicable.
Candidates who wish to apply for the third Ph.D. Programme need to pay the application fee, as applicable, again.
