Telangana University Nizamabad invites application for PhD Admission 2026-27.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates possessing Master’s Degree in the subject concerned or in any allied subject from a recognized University, with a minimum of 55% marks (50% in the case of SC/ST/BC-Non Creamy Layer candidates) are eligible to seek admission into the Ph.D. Programme.

Admission Procedure

• Candidates qualified in the National Eligibility Test (UGC/CSIR-NET)  /GATE/GPAT) and similar National Level eligibility Tests/ Fellowships (PMRF/ DST INSPIRE/ NFPWD/NFSC/NFST/ NF-OBC) and the percentile/marks obtained shall be taken into consideration for admission into Ph.D. programme.
• The validity of the NET score for admission in to the Ph.D. programme is one year. Validity of other qualifying test score is based on the rules and regulations of the concerned statutory regulatory boards.

Application Process

• The application form along with the Ph.D. admission rules and regulations booklet as per UGC guidelines can be downloaded from the University website www.telanganauniversity.ac.in from 16-09-2026 onwards.
• Duly filled-in application form along with the necessary enclosures, a comprehensive Research Proposal and fee receipt should reach the office of the Registrar, Telangana University, Nizamabad on or before 12-10-2026 either by post or in person.

• Commencement of submission of application: 16 September, 2026
• Last date for submission of application: 12 October, 2026
