Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS) PhD Admission 2024-25

Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS) Bikaner, Rajasthan invites online application for PhD admission for the academic session 2024-25 on the basis of scores in ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF(Ph.D.) examinations conducted by ICAR.

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must have passed Master’s degree in respective/related subjects with not less than 6.5/10.0 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of marks for general category candidates and 6.0/10.0 ог equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of marks for SC/ST /STA/OBC/ MBC/EWS/PH/Defense any other applicable category as per reservation policy of Govt. of Rajasthan.
• For Ph.D. degree programme, the candidate must be Rajasthan Domicile except for the candidates nominated by ICAR and must possess Master’s degree in the concerned subject or a degree equivalent thereto from any recognized University or Institute with minimum percentage of marks as prescribed and other provisions. The admissions shall be made based on score in ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D.) 2024 examination conducted by NTA/ICAR. State Reservation Policy will be applicable on all State Quota Seats.

Important Note

• There will be one (01) supernumerary seat in each discipline reserved for field functionaries working as Veterinary Officer/Senior Veterinary Officer/any other permitted designation and issued NOC for pursuing higher studies by the Department of Animal Husbandry, Government of Rajasthan or any other employer at the time of admission.
• One additional seat in each department is created as Supernumerary Seat for the candidates belonging to Other States.
• The following categories are exempted from appearing in ICAR-AIEEA (PG) 2024 and ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D.) 2024 examination:
  • a) Candidates nominated through ICAR//GOI/Foreign nationals.
  • b) Field functionaries are deputed by their respective employers.
  • c) In-service candidates of RAJUVAS and/ or considered as “in service on receipt of their applications through their employers will be required to fulfill the minimum academic qualifications. However, they have to fill the online application form and fee for admissions with in stipulated time line.
