Essential Qualifications
B. E./B. Tech. in Civil Engineering with minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA and M. E./M. Tech. or Equivalent in Water Resources Engineering/ Hydraulic Engineering /Hydroinformatics/ Agriculture Engineering/ Remote Sensing/ Geoinformatics with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA, from any recognized University/ Institute and Qualified GATE Score.
Desirable
Experience in working in Watershed Modelling using Geospatial Techniques

Emoluments
- Rs. 37,000 + 16% HRA (Tier II City) per month for GATE qualified candidates for the first two years
- Rs. 42,000 + 16% HRA (Tier II City) per month for GATE qualified candidates for the third year
Duration
1 year, will be extended further two more years till the completion of project, based on satisfactory performance
Job Description
- Involvement in Primary/Secondary Data Collection (Hard/Soft data) related to Cauvery River Basin
- Creation of Geodatabase for various parameters involved in Condition Assessment and Management Plan of Cauvery River Basin
- Preparation of Georeferenced Maps for different parameters
- Involvement in Watershed Assessment Modelling
- Proficiency in use of Water Resources/GIS Software, Computer office applications for creation of documents, presentations and spreadsheet applications, purchase related works

- Candidates before appearing for the interview shall ensure that they are eligible for the position they intend to apply.

- Please note that no TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.
