Duration of the post

1 year, subjected to the availability of funds. May be extended up to the project duration as per the norms.

Essential Qualifications

  • M. Sc (Mathematics) with a minimum of 60% (55% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS) or equivalent CGPA from a recognized institute
  • Valid GATE Scorecard or CSIR-NET-JRF

Emoluments

  • Rs. 37,000/- per month and 10% HRA for the initial 2 years
  • Rs. 42,000/- per month and 10% HRA for another 1 year

Desired Qualification / Skills

  • Working knowledge of Mathematica/MATLAB/Python
  • Basic knowledge of fluid dynamics

  • Selected candidates will not be permitted to claim for any regular / part-time appointments in this institute or any other during this period. This does not include the conversion of the project position to a regular Ph.D. position in the institute, after due process.
