Fellowship

Rs. 31,000/-(+HRA as per norms) per month (JRF) for the first year and Rs. 35,000/- (+HRA as per norms) per month (SRF) for the second year.

Essential Qualification

M. Tech./ M.E./ M.S. in Civil Engineering (CE) or equivalent with minimum 60% marks (or 6.5 CGPA on a ten-point scale) at both B.E./ B. Tech. and M.E./M. Tech. or B. Tech./B.E. in CE or equivalent with a CGPA above 8.0.

Desirable Qualification

Exposure to landslides and slope stability analysis, relevant experimental set-up development, and Fair proficiency in coding (Python/MATLAB).

Age and Relaxation (if any)

Maximum 30 Years on the date of application. Relaxation as per Govt. of India norms.

  5. The selected candidate will be required to work in the Department of Civil Engineering, NIT Jamshedpur as a full-time research fellow.

  7. Candidates will be encouraged to join the institute’s PhD Programme. The selected candidate will be working on the design and development of an environmental chamber with state-of-the-art technology. Also, the candidate will be working with a team of experts in the field of Landslides and Environmental Geotechnology.
