Applications are invited from self-motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) for the below mentioned Research Project in the Department of Electrical Engineering, VNIT Nagpur.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF): 02 (Two) Numbers

Eligibility

  • M.E./ M. Tech./M. Sc. with First class in Electrical Engineering and equivalent with specialization in Power Electronics/Electrical Drives/Power System/Control System or equivalent with minimum 60% or 6.5 CGPA from a recognized university/institute.
  • Candidates must have qualified CSIR-UGC NET or GATE Examination to apply under JRF.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Knowledge of hardware and controller design of power electronic converters.
  • Proficient in MATLAB, PSIM, PCB Design Software and Microcontroller/Digital Signal Controller/FPGA with good analytical ability and competent in writing skills.

Preferably Below 40 Years

Duration of the Project

03 Years

Fellowship per month

  • Rs. 37,000 plus HRA as per rules (1st and 2nd Year)
  • Rs. 42,000 plus HRA as per rules (3rd Year)

Terms & Conditions

  • The above position is purely temporary, and the continuation of the post is subject to the satisfactory performance and review after each semester.
  • Selected candidates will not be permitted to claim any regular/part-time appointments in this Institute or any other organization during this period.
  • The selected candidates may get an opportunity to enroll for PhD at VNIT Nagpur.
  • No travelling or any other allowances is admissible for attending the interview.
  • Incomplete applications/false information will be summarily rejected.
  • The Institute reserves the right to cancel the post without assigning any reason
  • Decision of The Director, VNIT Nagpur will be the final in all respect.
