About ILBS
Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences (ILBS) is an autonomous super-specialty institute of excellence under Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi.
The vision of ILBS is to be a global leader by becoming a beacon of patient care, teaching and research in the field of Liver and Biliary diseases and allied disciplines.
The Deemed-to-be-University status was conferred to ILBS by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956.
The Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences (ILBS) is running National Medical Commission (NMC) recognized super-specialty Post-Doctoral Degree Courses in Hepatobiliary.
Eligibility Criteria & Selection Process
- Master’s Degree in Biological Sciences (Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Zoology, Microbiology) or a Professional degree (MBBS, Master Degree in Medical or Dental Sciences, M.Tech., M.Pharma, M.V.Sc, declared equivalent to Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory body. Candidates should have secured minimum 60% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade as per UGC rules.
- Applicants who have cleared a national level examination like CSIR/UGC-NET JRF, DBT-JRF, ICMR-JRF need to appear for a Direct Interview.
For seats with JRF Fellowship
- All GATE/NET/GPAT qualified candidates with JRF Fellowship (Category-1 as per UGC NET)
For seats without JRF Fellowship
- All GATE/ NET/ GPAT qualified candidates without JRF Fellowship (Category-2 & 3 as per UGC NET)
