In case of a tie in CET marks between two candidates, the following preference order will be used to determine the merit rank:

  1. Preference will be given to the candidate with a higher OGPA/Percentage in their PG degree.
  2. If the tie persists, preference will be given to the elder candidate.
  3. If there’s still a tie, preference will be given to the candidate with a higher OGPA/percentage in their UG degree.
  4. In case of a further tie, the decision of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor will be final.
