ME/M.Tech in Mech/Metallurgy/Materials Engg. with GATE qualified. Candidates with B.Tech/M.Tech. from IITs (CGPA > 8) are exempted from GATE/NET as per Institute rules.

Job Description
- The project aims to reproduce the in-service thermo-mechanical fatigue loading experienced by AUSC steam turbine casing experimentally at specimen level and to study the creep-fatigue interaction of IN625 alloy.
- Basic knowledge of metallurgical aspects of material mechanics behavior, fracture mechanics, and fatigue is required. Should be able to work in an independent environment. Skills like SEM, Optical microscopy analysis, EBSD analysis, and mechanical testing are preferable but not mandatory.
