IIT Madras Wanted Project Associate at Department of Electrical Engineering

Applications are invited for the temporary post of Project Associate (Part-Time), Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Madras.

Duration

Initially for one year, later extendable based on the performance.

Qualification and Experience

• B.E/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering / Computer Science with valid GATE score and UG CGPA > 7.0 (Percentage > 70).
• Minimum GATE score requirements for different disciplines are as follows:
  • EE/EC/IN: 575
  • NM: 400
  • ME: 500
  • CS: 600

Job Description

• The project will involve development and implementation of algorithms for navigation of autonomous surface vehicles amidst obstacles and rendezvous with certain distance constraints.
• Candidates will be expected to be proficient in Python and Matlab.
• Provision for doing an M.S exists for candidate with good GATE score and good academic record.
