Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow to work under the project titled “Direct Combustion of Metal Fuels” in the School of Mechanical Sciences, IIT Goa. The project is sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF)
Project Title: ‘Direct combustion of metal fuels’. The project is affiliated with CoESustainable Energy, which was established at IIT Goa with a focus on sustainable combustion and propulsion technologies.
Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Duration of Appointment: One year, with the option to extend further.
Nature of work: The nature of the work will be predominantly experimental. The research fellow will engage in activities such as literature review, design and commissioning of experimental setups, combustion experiments with metal powder fuels, data acquisition and analysis, and theoretical/ analytical modeling.
Essential Qualification:
- Master’s Degree/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or allied branches.
- Qualified GATE SCORE in the relevant branches
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in experimental techniques of thermal engineering, combustion and propulsion.
Salary:
- Rs. 37,000/- Per Month
- HRA as per funding agency norms.
