Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad invites applications for the Summer Internship Program 2025.
Eligibility
- Currently enrolled undergraduate or postgraduate student pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, humanities, or other allied streams from an accredited Indian institute/university.
- The applicant must have a minimum CGPA of 6.5 or 65% in the most recently completed semester (or earlier semester if the results for the current semester are not yet available at the time of application).
- Available full-time for a minimum of 1 or 2 months during the internship period at IIT Dharwad campus.
Duration of the Summer Internship
- Maximum duration: Two (02) months [between 12th May 2025 – 15th July 2025].
- Minimum recommended period: One (01) month.
Submission of Applications
- Applications must be submitted through the portal hosted at IIT Dharwad website.
- Submission is not allowed after the due date.
- Application submission is free.
- Required documents:

- Bonafide Certificate issued by your college/institute with the Principal/Institute’s head seal and signature
- Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Stipend & Internship Certificate
- No stipend, travel support, or monetary benefits will be provided.
- Internship certificate for Excellent/Good/Satisfactory performance.
- Unsatisfactory performance may result in termination and no certificate.
Accommodation
Free accommodation and food (from hostel mess) will be provided, subject to availability. No additional charges for water/electricity.
Selection Procedure
- Preliminary screening followed by an online interview by the faculty mentor.
- Selected candidates will be informed via email.
- No communication for non-selected candidates.
- IIT Dharwad’s decision is final.
