Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) invites application for IIST Summer Internship Programme 2025 to work with faculty on interesting short term projects.

Students at various stages in BTech, BS-MS, MSc, and other programmes from reputed institutions like IITs and IISERs come to IIST for summer internships.

From 02 June 2025 to 20 July 2025

Instructions/Notes

  • The summer internship of 2025 does not have fellowships. However, boarding and lodging will be provided at nominal rates of Rs 125 (for a base meal) and Rs 50, respectively, per day, depending on the availability of the hostel rooms.
  • Interns have to pay a nominal amount of Rs 100 towards certain administrative charges when they join for an internship.
  • Each intern will be given a temporary identity card to access various facilities in IIST.
  • Interns will be provided certificates for completed internships.

  • Before proceeding to the online application form, please download this PDF file showing the information required to be entered and read it. Be ready with all the required information before opening the application form. The application form has to be filled and submitted in one session.
  • Fill the online application form.
  • The names of short listed candidates will be published in this web page on tentatively 30th April 2025,and the candidates will be informed by email.
