Full details for IISER Bhopal Summer Internship Program 2025.

IISER Bhopal invites applications from bright and motivated students interested in basic sciences, engineering sciences and economic sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences for its summer research internship program.

Selected candidates would participate in research carried out by IISER Bhopal faculty, through research/reading projects under their supervision.

Eligibility and Rules

  1. Students who have completed or are currently studying in the:
    • 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of B.Sc/B.Tech/BS/BS-MS/B.E.
    • 1st year of M.Sc/M.Tech.
    • An equivalent program at the time of application. are encouraged to apply.
  2. Candidates are required to fill out the Online Internship Application Form. Providing false information will result in the cancellation of the application/registration.

Project Duration

4 to 8 weeks, between May 26 and July 21, 2025.

Note:

  • Students can apply for up to three projects from the listed projects.
  • You may browse the faculty webpages on the Institute’s website for more information about their research work.
  • Faculty not listed in the list of available projects will not be offering any summer projects. Please do not contact them directly for projects.

Selection Criteria:

  • Candidates will be selected based on their academic performance and the submitted write-up.

Other Details:

  1. The list of candidates selected for the summer internship will be displayed on the institute’s website by the third week of April.
  2. No financial assistance will be provided.
  3. Hostel accommodation will be provided, and charges (Rs. 1500/- PM) will apply.
  4. Mess fees will be charged as per actual rates, payable to the mess contractor (approximately Rs. 3700/- PM).
  5. Upon successful completion of the internship and submission of a detailed project report, a certificate will be issued by the Faculty-in-charge.
