IIIT Vadodara is committed to fostering academic collaboration and providing opportunities for students across the country to benefit from its rich academic environment.
To this end, the Institute offers an Internship Program for non-IIIT Vadodara students, enabling them to engage in short-term academic and project work under the mentorship of our esteemed faculty.
Program Objective
The program allows students from other institutes to undertake internships ranging from 8 weeks to one semester at IIIT Vadodara. This initiative aims to enhance the Institute’s societal contribution and visibility while providing a platform for academic exchange.
Internship Categories
- Summer Internship: May to July (Min 8 weeks)
- One semester Internship: Autumn/Winter Semester
Fee
No Application or Internship Fee.
Eligibility
The candidate must have the following:
- At least half of the total semesters must be successfully completed (e.g., for an 8-semester B.Tech program, at least 4 semesters).
- have thoroughly read at least one research paper, preferably with completed or ongoing research work.
Location
IIIT Vadodara have two campuses: Gandhinagar and Diu. The faculty profile links with research areas are as follows:
- Gandhinagar: CSE, ECE, and Science, Math & Humanities.
- Diu: CSE, ECE, and Science, Math & Humanities.
Guidelines for Internships
- Applications must be submitted only through the online application form linked above.
- The internship duration ranges from a minimum of eight weeks to a maximum of one semester.
- Applications are reviewed and recommended by a scrutiny committee. The selected candidates will be informed through email.
- A certificate of completion will be awarded only to candidates who successfully complete their internship.
- The internship is free of charge, and no stipend will be provided by the institute.
