Doon University PhD Admission 2025-26

Online Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission in various Ph.D. programs of Doon University

Eligibility Criteria

• The National Eligibility Test (NET) scores for admission to Ph.D. Programs will be used by the University as per the University Grants Commission (UGC), notification dated 27.03.2024.
• The following will be the key eligibility requirements for Ph.D. Admissions at the University:
  • Candidates with National Level Examinations: Candidates who have qualified national level exams like JRF (UGC/CSIR), NET (UGC/CSIR).
  • Candidates with NET Qualification (Ph.D. only): Candidates who have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Ph.D. (Category-3).
• The marks obtained in the NET by the candidates in Category 2 and 3 will be valid for a period of one year for admission to Ph.D. Programs.

Selection Process

After concluding the process of filling of online application form candidates will be called for interview and merit list will be prepared as per UGC Regulations and Doon University Ph.D. Ordinances. For which information will be notified through the university website.

Application Process

• Candidates are required to fill the online application form by visiting the University website.
• Application fee shall not be refundable and no correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.

• Last date for filling Application Form in the University: 20 Sept 2025
• Interview: Last week of September
• Admission: First week of October
• Commencement of classes: Second week of October
