Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the following temporary posts in the RUSA 2.0 thematic area “Monitoring and Analysis of Power Quality Issues on to the Distribution Network due to Electric Vehicle Infrastructure” (PO7)” being operated in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, CEG campus, Anna University, Chennai – 600025.
Positions
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): 01
- Technical Assistant (TA): 01
- Skilled Manpower with ME Qualification: 02
- Skilled Manpower with Diploma/ITI Qualification: 02
Qualification
- JRF: ME/MTech in Power systems, Power Electronics, Control & Instrumentation ME/MTech/MS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering
- TA: BE/BTech/BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering
- Skilled Manpower with ME Qualification: ME/MTech in Power Systems/Power Electronics and Drives, Control & Instrumentation / Power Engineering Management / Embedded System Technologies / High Voltage Engineering
- Skilled Manpower with Diploma/ITI Qualification: Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Mechatronics/ Mechanical / Automobile Engineering
Salary (As Per RUSA Norms) (Rs.)
- JRF: 32,500/- P.M. (Consolidated)
- TA: 20,000/- P.M. (Consolidated)
- Skilled Manpower with ME Qualification: Technical Assistant (PG)-I. PG with minimum 2 years in relevant field – Rs.300/- per hour (OR) Technical Assistant (PG)-II. PG in relevant field – Rs.250/- per hour. Claim restricted to a maximum of 100 hours per month per person
- Skilled Manpower with Diploma/ITI Qualification: Skilled Lab Assistant – I ITI/Diploma with minimum 2 years in relevant field Rs.200/- per hour (OR) Skilled Lab Assistant – II ITI/Diploma in relevant field – Rs.150/- per hour. Claim restricted to a maximum of 100 hours per month per person
General Information
- GATE / NET Qualified candidates will be given preference. If suitable candidates are not found in GATE/ NET category.
- Only short-listed candidates will be called for interview.
- The position is purely temporary for 6 months or till project end date whichever is earlier and may be extended based on the performance.
- Separate application should be sent for each post if required to apply for more than one post.
- Any claim with regard to qualification & experience should have necessary certificates.
- No TA/DA is allowed for the candidates who are attending the interview.
