Applications are invited from eligible candidates holding National-Level Fellowships, such as ICAR Fellowship, CSIR-JRF/SRF, UGC-NET/JRF, ICMR Fellowship, or any other Government-funded Fellowship, for direct admission to the Pphh.D. Degree Programmes at ICAR–National Dairy Research Institute (ICAR-NDRI), Deemed to be University, Karnal, for the Academic Session 2026–27.

Eligibility

The candidate must hold a valid National-Level Fellowship, such as:

  • ICAR Fellowship
  • CSIR-JRF/SRF
  • UGC-NET/JRF
  • ICMR Fellowship
  • Any other fellowship funded by the Government of India or its agencies.

The candidate must satisfy the educational qualifications and other eligibility conditions prescribed for the respective discipline as per attached for PG and Ph.D. Admissions 2026–27, the minimum prescribed marks/CGPA in the qualifying degree ICAR Information Bulletin.

Selection Procedure

  • Eligible candidates shall be shortlisted and called for an interview before a Selection Committee constituted by the Institute.
  • Selection for admission shall be based on the candidate’s academic credentials, validity of the fellowship, performance in the interview, and fulfillment of the prescribed eligibility conditions.
  • The decision of the Institute regarding selection and admission shall be final and binding.

Application Procedure

Eligible candidates should submit the prescribed application form along with self-attested copies of the following documents:

  • Fellowship Award Letter/Certificate.
  • Marksheets and Degree Certificates. (From class 10th Onwards)
  • Category Certificate (where applicable).
  • Any other relevant supporting documents.

The completed application should reach the Institute on or before 15th September 2026.

Applications received after the prescribed last date or found incomplete in any respect shall not be considered.
