Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwavidyalaya – JNKVV Jabalpur PhD Admission (2026-27)

Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (JNKVV) Jabalpur invites application for PhD Admission (2026-27) through an Online Joint Entrance Examination to be conducted on 27th June, 2026.

Eligibility

• Ph.D in Agriculture: M.Sc.(Ag) in relevant subject (Min 65% Marks)
• Ph.D in Forestry: M.Sc.(Forestry) in relevant subject (Min 65% Marks), M.Sc. (Hort)/ M.Sc. (Ag.) Horticulture for Ph.D. in Horticulture Degree Programme, M.Sc. (Forestry) in Silviculture & Agroforestry/ M.Sc. (Forestry) Agroforestry for Ph.D. (Agroforestry)
• Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering: M.Tech.(Agril Engg) In relevant subject
• 6.00/10 or equivalent percentage of marks for SC/ST/PwD category candidates for admission to Ph.D. Degree programmes.

Age and nationality: Indian Nationals having age not below 19 years are eligible to appear in the examination. No relaxation is admissible regarding the minimum age limit.

Candidates passed (or due to appear) in the final examination of their Master Degree in the concerned field as per revised syllabus of ICAR along with fulfillment of conditions will be eligible for the Doctorate degree entrance examination.

Reservation of seats

• Seats are reserved for various reserve categories of candidate’s permanent resident of M.P. State as per rules laid down by the Government The adoption of reservation policy for SC, ST, OBC, PwD, EWS and female candidates shall strictly be as per the provisions contained in the booklet of Admission Rules and guidelines issued by the Department of Higher Education, M.P. • If eligible candidates of any class of reserve category are not available, the remaining seats will be converted to another class/ category as per the decision of the committee constituted for the purpose.

Mode of selection

The candidates under each category will be selected for admission on
the basis of merit list prepared after the online entrance examination, through
counseling to be conducted by MP Online Limited, Bhopal.

Application Process

• A candidate can apply for giving examination in only one Subject. No change would be allowed thereafter. Choice of subject/degree programmes for admission will be available at the time of counseling based on availability of seats, and merit rank of the candidate.
• Online Application and downloadable prospectus will be available on MP Online Limited Portal kvv.mponline.gov.in A demo Online application form will also be available on the website for acquainting the candidates with this technique and practicing before online submission of application.
• The candidate has to visit MP Online Limited Portal kvv.mponline.gov.in and click the option of filling “Online Application for JNKVV & RVSKVV Joint Entrance Examination 2026-27. The candidates can download prospectus and then fill the form on MP online. During filling of prescribed online form, candidates must submit prescribed fee as per instructions.

• Issuing information by MP Online Limited on Test Centers, Admit Card, Related Instructions: 18 June, 2026
• Conduction of Online Joint Entrance Examination by MP Online Limited at various test centers: 27 June, 2026
• Submission of objections, if any, related to question answers of the Entrance Test Paper to MP Online Ltd.: 3 July, 2026 to 4 July, 2026 (until 5:00 PM)
• Declaration of results of examination by MP Online Limited (In case of no objection): 7 July, 2026
• Declaration of results of examination by MP Online Limited (In case of objection): 15 July, 2026
• Display of merit rank list by MP Online Limited: 17 July, 2026
