Application Process

For admissions at the ICT for any of the Ph.D. courses, a candidate should apply online for admission applications.

For more information, candidates shall refer to Handbook 2026-2027 on ICT website http://ictmumbai.edu.in. The Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID is mandatory for submission of Application from AY 2026-27 for all programmes. Please visit https://www.abc.gov.in/ for creating ABC ID, if you do not have one already.

The mere submission of an application form does not guarantee admission. To become eligible for admission to these programmes , the candidates will have to qualify entrance examination conducted by Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai. Subject to availability of fellowships. The syllabus for Ph.D. (Tech.) / Ph.D (Science) entrance examination for various programmes for the academic year 2026-2027 is available on ICT website www.ictmumbai.edu.in

Direct Ph.D. (Tech.) programmes are offered in limited branches only.

AICTE Doctoral Fellowship (ADF) will be available for student who takes admission at ICT and has a valid GATE score. The admission process will be as per the Guidelines/eligibility details for AICTE Doctoral Fellowship (ADF) as decided by the AICTE for the academic year 2026-2027.
