Applications are invited for the temporary post of Project Associate, Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Madras.
Position
Project Associate
Co-ordinator
Prof. Phanisri Pradeep Pratapa, Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Madras.
Duration
Initially for 6 months, later extendable based on the performance and requirement.
Qualification and Experience
- Minimum UG in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Aerospace or related fields)
- (Preferred) Experience with CAD modelling using Solidworks or similar software
- (Preferred) Experience with lab work and prototyping
Job Description
- CAD modelling of robotics and mechanism-based structures.
- Use of software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros etc.
- Hands on skills to make physical prototypes either through 3D printing or sheet/metal cutting in the lab.
- Attending meetings, preparing reports.
